What Color Tie To A Grey Shirt?

A day of shooting on 'Hispania'

As some of you know, I'm having the chance to participate in the ultimate success of the television drama in Spain, 'Hispania' , which re-broadcast on Antena 3 on Wednesday at the usual time after the technical break last week. The whole team is still rolling the end of the season, battling against the odds outdoor time, from cold, very cold, and repeated shots to you, the viewers, enjoy the show as you deserve.

The truth is that there are so many things to say I would not know where to start, so before moving on to the large number of anecdotes that will come in later posts, I'll describe how often a day of shooting in the series. Oddly, although my passion is writing and stay behind the camera relieved in the background, this is not the first time I appear as an actor of representation in a professional job (in the background too), and seems to go, taking the dynamic although I've never been so cold as working in this fashion, but hey, I will share everything in due time ...

Hispanics in the village of Caura with Merche, the wonderful woman who controls us all.

5:50. sounds the alarm and start the day. The first thing is to get a good shower to activate fast, then I prepare, I drink a glass of milk and leave home to get the car and drive for about half hour by road. Surely, just to see what time it is and darkness and cold weather in the street many years have already removed the urge to go bowling, right?

7:15. This is usually the normal time which is left in the morning to take full possible daylight hours, but may vary depending on the shooting schedule that has given your character in the series. We all gathered in a hotel in the beautiful area of La Vera and from there we move into production vehicles to the site of shooting that day (English settlement, Roman camp, ride ...)

7:45. Here you begin to lose some sense of time. You get rid of all your belongings and go into the tent so you can change clothes and clothe you Hispanic or Roman fashion, in my case Hispanic (a kind of gown with a sash at the waist, boots or sandals and a layer on the back). People dress durra it a lot, not a single detail escapes them and do not give the go-ahead until you see perfect. Sometimes that can take a while. After you leave the tent and then you realize that it really is cold out, but then you get into another tent, the makeup, which is usually a good heater that is appreciated. People make up is quite nice, despite the hours are, we see that feel authentic devotion to what they do. In fact I think he putting pipe passing blood through the body and gets the face, hair and legs thoroughly. And in record time almost makes his work sometimes almost do not have to act. A marvel.

8 and something. While waiting to run out of dress and make the rest of your teammates, used to go grab a coffee and buns for breakfast. As no energy to go with broken end up shooting before noon. Speaking experience, though this is hard for everyone equally. Many times it's fun and you have a good with your colleagues, but others quite bloody, especially mentally more than physically, and I repeat, this is for the whole team equally. Anyway it is always comforting to see that the work is done well and also likes people. No better reward than that (in addition to the economics, of course).

peak at 8 and 11:30. Other vehicle production brings you the necessary parameters to the exact place where art and props people have prepared the decorations. They obey the orders of our dear coordinator, that drives us and cares for us as anybody. We also own with heated tent to rest between takes, fridge (although now rarely necessary) with water and soft drinks if you need recomponerte or if you simply want. In our tent is usually where we spend the best times and threw us the biggest laugh with the peculiarities of each. Spending time near Keuchkerian Hovik (Sandro) is priceless. From time to time we also throw some anger because we do too much noise while we are asleep, and when the director Mark silence there can not speak or Christ. After a few hours rather busy filming a greater or lesser number of sequences, is one of my favorite times of the day, that where they say: "Break for snack."

From 12:00 to 15:00 (or more). In this time frame do the same as the previous. Ride, rest, ride, rest. Of course, there are also problems. Occasionally the scenes do not go as well as they should and have to be repeated several times. Normally the general discontent comes when the director and his aides say that to: "Go back to first", which means you have to repeat it all, and okay, if it is two, three and even four times since it was not so bad. The problem comes when that fateful phrase is repeated over five times and you die of cold but bring blankets while you resume the action. And if it rains and long story. Then comes my second favorite time of day, when they say "Cut for food."

Juanjo Ballesta and I after receiving a beating.

15:00 (or time that is). I love catering people, they do not know but I love them dearly. Last Friday I went to the table where they serve you food without a clear idea of what I wanted and the girl asked me what was going to eat. I replied that I knew what I wanted, anything, and she poured me a generous bowl of rice a delicious hot soup that left me again and took me for a while the cold body. Small details and a server are valued. Other than that, in the catering tent is usually where most of the workers agree with each other. No wonder such kind and polite Nathalie Poza eat with you, or you're going to give you a salad and you give in the last of the sweet fresh tomato Manuela Vellés, or ultimately, a stressed producer chat on the phone about budget issues.

From 16:00 till dusk. There are days when you just before and others where they end up later, according to what you need. Moreover, in this age as we continue rolling in the morning, only a little more tired. Before starting a new measurement, in charge of costumes and makeup review everything go perfect and even if they are necessary to give you some last minute touch. So until you say you've finished. Then, if you need to do some fitting, the script asks you a picture and go.

About 19:00. You get to change, you take off your makeup (or not if you want to give someone a scare), say goodbye to everyone, and a bus takes you to your car to be able to return home after a long but productive day's work . After all you want is to relax on the couch, reading a book or watching TV, and if you happen to get 'Hispania' all the better.

Stack Wheybolic Extreme 60

Dance Theater (II)

second installment of the film dances that I like, which are many and varied. Now Playing two of two films made in black and white. Here we go:

Bande à part (Band of Outsiders) 1964
We are located at the height of what became known as the New Wave (Nouvelle Vague) French. 'Band of Outsiders "is one of my favorite films of Jean-Luc Godard, someone who I do not like too well though I admire some of his works ( At the end of the adventure, live your life ). Interestingly, in all I like is the sweet and appealing Anna Karina, there must be. I think it is the first time I talk about this dance on the blog, a dance and film have influenced the career of many directors, for example, might sound something you dance 'Simple Men' by Hal Hartley which published last week, but above all, may you also remember the style of Quentin Tarantino, a Eater real movie then gives his own view of everything that has influenced, that is not small. Banda apart was one of those influences, in fact, even his own production company is named. Without further ado, Anna Karina, Sami Frey, Claude Brasseur and Godard himself narrating the action and feelings of the characters:

Down by Law (Down by Law) 1986
The truth is I feel a certain fondness for the films of Jim Jarmusch ( Night on Earth, Ghost Dog, Mystery Train, Broken Flowers ) for his naturalism, by the comedy and drama his characters, and their endless fades to black. I've been on the verge of deciding to make Eszter Balint dancing alone in 'Stranger in Paradise', but in the end I chose one that is not too big steps or style, I chose one for me perfectly represents what the love and happiness. The great Tom Waits and John Lurie equally great note here the memorable Roberto Benigni and Nicoletta Braschi, couples also in real life. Enjoy.

Application Form For Apartment Canada

Dance Theater (I)

film Dances. In this section I will publish some of my favorite dance movies. Some will be more recognized than others, although this also depends on the person's own taste for it to go. Today we publish the first two, two dances two relatively modern movies.

Simple Men Hal Hartley (1992)
Without doubt this very great film, we find one of the dances that are most like, so I put it in the first place. I've even lost count of times that I have viewed. Starring Robert Burke, Bill Sages, and Karen Sillas Elina Lowensohn, and led by one of the fathers of American independent cinema, the New Yorker Hal Hartley (Amateur , Trust, Flirt, Henry Fool, Fay Grim ). Sounds Kool Thing by Sonic Youth. Simply legendary, why say more.

Little Miss Sunshine, Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (2006)
much fun and how many things I felt watching "Little Miss Sunshine." The story of a shattered family on a journey to basically rebuild all those broken pieces, but they do not know yet, because a good comedy should always have a good background dramatic. That's 'Little Miss Sunshine', just winning the Oscar for best screenplay written by Michael Arndt. And Abigail Breslin is up and surprises us with this sensational dance accompanied by Greg Kinnear, Paul Dano, Steve Carell, Toni Collette and Alan Arkin, Grandpa waiting in the car trunk. Sounds Super Freak, Rick James.
