Prince William and Kate, the flamboyant Duke of Cambridge, gave the people the most awaited dámdose moving today two kisses on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to thousands of people gathered at the scene.
The pair repeated the scene of the parents of William, Prince Charles and Diana of Wales in July 1981 - to be a kiss in front of thousands of people shouting "William and Catherine."
After the newlyweds, they went to the balcony of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh, the parents of Catherine, Michael and Carol, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess Cornwall.
The balcony was decorated by a crimson curtain and had yellow piping, color in tune with the golden tones of some of the bars of the official residence of Elizabeth II.
Following the appearance on the balcony, several low-flying aircraft in the Royal Air Force (RAF) burst in the sky above the palace, giving an end to the ceremony of the link.
planes used in this flight were a Lancaster, a Hurricane, a Spitfire, two Tornado GR4 and two Typhoons.
Prince William, second in line to the British throne, and Kate Middleton from now Catherine became husband and wife today in a ceremony at London's Westminster Abbey with hundreds of millions of people around the world as witnessed through television.
